This project started as the brainchild of my husband. We had been discussing additional businesses that would give us the opportunity to work together and still afford us the freedom of being present in our kids' lives. We have a big family! 7 children total and 4 teens that are still living at home! Family for us is paramount! Our kids have very hectic schedules and being there for them is our most important and favorite job!
My husband is a gun enthusiast! He is a stickler for gun safety, proper knowledge and handling and a sucker for unique guns! Me on the other hand... not so much! I come from a place of fear. I have never really been exposed to guns and have always been afraid of them! When he first approached me with this idea, I was hesitant. I was unsure of it all! However, the excitement and passion that my husband has shown for this concept, along with the "pretty" designs I have easily been swayed! Trigger Happy Customs has become a way for the two of us to share our specific strengths and collaborate. It is not always easy, some days our work life overpowers our home life, some days are tough but everyday I get an opportunity to work with my partner, to see the way his mind works, to view the artistry of something I was once afraid of and to build the life we want to have!
This is an absolute Labor of Love, we have made mistakes along the way and learned from them and we continue to work to build a company we love, products we are proud of and a process that will garner trust from our clients and friends!
